Green Terror Talk

Are you the parent of a high school student? COVID-19 has presented unique challenges for college-bound students and their parents. SAT and ACT tests have been canceled. Co-curricular and volunteer activities are limited. IB and AP courses are virtual. How can parents of high school students be informed about the impact these changes might have on their students' college planning?

Please join Janelle Holmboe (VP of Enrollment Management), Heidi Reigel '97 (AVP of Alumni & Admissions), Kemia Himon (Director of Admissions & Financial Aid), and Stephanie Stahler (Sr. Associate Director of Admissions) for an in-depth Green Terror Insider conversation about how parents can help their high school students navigate this changing landscape. We'll discuss what exceptions colleges are making to admission requirements and policies, how to maintain a competitive application, and what to expect from the admissions process. With more than 50 years of admissions experience combined, you'll walk away informed and empowered.

We will also discuss Financial Aid, highlight our Alumni Legacy Scholarship, and though this session is not designed to be a recruitment session for McDaniel, your attendance makes you eligible for a personal VIP golf cart tour if your dependent schedules an official college tour at McDaniel.
